Say NO!

Those of you that have been reading me since the beginning know that this blog is just a soft, fluffy place to come and get away from all the bad icky stuff going on in the world, to just leave it all behind for a bit. I usually do not post about politics, religion, or news in general, but I decided that I would do this blog post because our blogs will more than likely be affected by the passing of SOPA/PIPA.

In support of the websites that have chosen to go dark in protest of SOPA/PIPA, I am not posting on facebook for the day; I will return there tomorrow. Will my disappearing from facebook for a day make a huge difference in the grand scheme of things? No probably not, but it will hopefully raise some awareness that censorship of the internet could be just around the corner if these bills are passed. Is this something you are willing to allow? I know I'm not, the government has taken away or is trying to take away enough of our freedoms. Don't let them take another one.

Under the photo is a link to a petition that Google and the other sites participating in the blackout have put up for today; The only required fields are an email and a zip code. I signed it and I did so using my full name, email and zip. Help stop SOPA/PIPA say NO, by letting your voice be heard, consider signing the petition.

Have a good day,

Hey Ken :)

We are doing OK, I hope you and your family are doing well also.

I haven't felt like blogging much lately, just not motivated for some reason. I keep hoping my block will end, but it keeps hanging on.

Take care, my friend

great post Fel. and i have always loved your fluffy blog and i don't say that in a demeaning way. you have shared much of your life here and i have always been honoured to follow along and share in it.

and one thing i know is that you are one of the sweetest, kindest, most thoughtful people that i have ever met - but i would never get on your bad side. i know that under all of your loveliness lives a grizzly bear. and you have just demonstrated that with this post!

thank you for sharing this. wish i could sign up too!

your friend,
kymber
